Krank Fitness Launches Athlete Development Program to Cultivate Strength, Power, Speed, and Agility in Young Athletes.

 

Krank Fitness, a fitness training facility located on Calgary’s west side in the Aspen Glen Shopping Center, is proud to announce the launch of its highly anticipated Athlete Development Program. Designed to nurture the physical abilities of young athletes, aged 11-17, this comprehensive program focuses on developing strength, power, speed, agility, explosiveness, mobility, and flexibility.

 

With the growing emphasis on athleticism in youth sports, it has become crucial to provide young athletes with the tools and training necessary to excel in their respective disciplines. The Krank Fitness Athlete Development Program aims to bridge this gap by offering a well-rounded and scientifically-backed training curriculum tailored to enhance overall athletic performance.

 

 

KEY FEATURES OF THE PROGRAM INCLUDE:

1. Trainer-to-Athlete Ratio: The program ensures personalized attention by maintaining a small trainer-to-athlete ratio of 1:6. This allows for individualized instruction and the ability to address specific needs and goals.

 

2. Comprehensive Training Schedule: The program consists of five one-hour sessions per week, spread across Monday to Friday. Each day focuses on different aspects of athletic development.

 

- Mondays and Fridays: Strength Days - Athletes will be introduced to strength training with weights under the careful supervision of certified trainers. Proper form and technique will be emphasized to maximize benefits and minimize injury risks.

 

- Tuesdays and Thursdays: Hybrid Workouts - These sessions incorporate a combination of speed, agility, and functional strength exercises to enhance overall athleticism and performance in various sports.

 

- Wednesdays: Plyometrics - Athletes will engage in dynamic exercises aimed at improving power, explosiveness, and coordination through controlled footwork, jumping and bounding movements.

 

3. Expert Coaching and Guidance: The program will be led by experienced and certified trainers who possess a deep understanding of athletic development. They will provide guidance, instruction, and motivation to help athletes reach their full potential.

 

4. Holistic Approach: The Athlete Development Program takes a holistic approach to training, focusing not only on physical aspects but also on injury prevention, recovery strategies, nutrition education, and mental resilience.

SCHEDULE

Choose 10 am or 11am.  Pending enrolment, more times may be added which may include 12pm and 6pm

 

Session 1: July 3-7

Session 2: July 10-14

Session 3: July 17-21

Session 4: July 24-28

Session 5: July 31-August 4

Session 6: August 8-12

Session 7: August 14-18

Session 8: August 21-25

Session 9: August 28-September 1

 

 

PRICING   

1 WEEK: $125 plus GST

4 WEEK: $450 plus GST

 

We have designed our pricing structure with flexibility in mind to accommodate the needs of our customers. We offer two options: a 1-week and a 4-week package. We understand that families often have varying schedules during the summer, making it difficult to commit to a fixed time period.

 

With our 1-week option, you have the freedom to choose any week out of the 9 available sessions to utilize your purchased session. This allows you to align your attendance with your family's availability and ensure that you make the most out of our program.

 

Similarly, our 4-week option offers even greater flexibility. You can select any 4 weeks from the 9 available sessions to attend. This option provides you with the opportunity to tailor your participation to the specific weeks that work best for you and your family.

 

To secure your spot in the program, we highly recommend registering in advance for your desired weeks and times. This will guarantee your place in the sessions and ensure that we can accommodate your needs effectively.

Please register with your childs name, date of birth and session numbers you wish to enrol in.  Once registered, a waiver form will be sent out and payment will be processed through our MINDBODY software.
