RYAN GRANT

Ryan holds a Bachelor's Degree in Kinesiology with a specialization in fitness and lifestyle, as well as a Bachelor's Degree in Education with a major in physical education and a minor in health. He has over 30 years of coaching, teaching and training experience, Ryan has worked with NHL, CFL and Olympic athletes, and has trained thousands of individuals in fitness and health. From 2008 to 2020, he owned and operated Mojo Fitness, and he is also a proud father of two active children.

 

Fitness and athletics have always played a significant role in Ryan's life. While he actively participates in various sports, his favorites include hockey, golf, and fastball. His passion for fastball has allowed him to travel internationally and compete in multiple national and world championships. In 2006, Ryan was honored as Softball Alberta's male athlete of the year. He has amassed an impressive record of 15 Provincial Championships, 3 Western Canadian Championships, and a gold medal at the Canada Summer Games.  Ryan currently serves as the head coach for Team Alberta Softball for the 2025 Canada Summer Games and has provided assistance to the Team Canada junior squad. He also competes in long drive for golf and has attended multiple national and world championships. Between 2016 and 2023, Ryan has been a member of Team Canada Long Drive and has also served as team captain.  Additionally, he has played hockey in the AAA senior men's Alberta Chinook Hockey League and currently coaches his son in the Trails West organization.

 

Ryan's infectious energy, extensive knowledge, and strong work ethic make him a valuable resource for individuals of all ages and fitness levels looking to achieve their personal goals. Ryan and his former company, Mojo Fitness, have been recipients of the Top Fitness Award at the Calgary Choice Awards and have received nominations for numerous prestigious business awards. Krank Fitness was the recipient of the 2024 Top Choice Award for best fitness center in Calgary by the Top Choice Awards.  In 2018, 2019 and 2024, Impact Magazine recognized him as Canada's top trainer/instructor, and in 2019, he was named one of Calgary's top 5 trainers by the Calgary Top Fitness Awards. LAUREN HUNDSETH

Lauren is a new resident of Calgary and a recent graduate of the kinesiology and nutrition programs at the University of Saskatchewan. She grew up playing basketball and volleyball competitively and now takes part in football, ultimate frisbee, and beach volleyball. She has experience working as a personal trainer with one-on-one clientele, small groups, and athletes. She has also spent time volunteering her time through the development and coaching of youth sport and looks forward to working with up-and-coming athletes. 

She is passionate about health and wellness and enjoys working with like-minded individuals to achieve their nutrition goals. As a result of her education, she understands the critical role of nutrition in sport, general fitness, and overall health.

 

She takes part in ongoing education and fosters an environment that is supportive, empathetic, and non-judgmental, for clients from all walks of life. By engaging in lifelong learning she can provide an individualized and evidence-based approach to nutrition counselling. Her work is centered around building lifelong habits and behaviours through realistic and sustainable goal setting. She believes there is no one size fits all approach to nutrition.
