Ryan graduated from the University of Regina with a Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology specializing in fitness and lifestyle. He also obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Education with a major in physical education and a minor in health. He has over 25 years of combined teaching and training experience working with professional athletes as well as training thousands of people specializing in fitness and health. From 2008-2020 he was the owner/operator of Mojo Fitness. He is also a dad to 2 amazing active kiddos.
Fitness and athletics has always been a huge part of Ryan’s life. He actively plays many sports but his favourites are hockey, golf and fastball. His love of fastball has given him the opportunity to travel the world and compete in world championships. In 2006, Ryan was selected as Softball Alberta’s male athlete of the year and to date has won 15 Provincial Championships, 3 Western Canadian Championships and 1 National Championship. In 2014 he also participated in the Golf World Long Championship in Mesquite, Nevada. In 2016,2017,2019 he was a member and captain of Team Canada and attended the ILDC World Team Long Drive Championships. In addition he also played hockey in the AAA senior mens Alberta Chinook Hockey League.
